Corporate Websites

Change Innovators is a Winnipeg based company that specializes in leadership, occupational health and safety, wellness training, and HR services. Change Innovators was one of our first All Inclusive Websites clients. A website renovation was completed in summer of 2006 and includes a set of online safety surveys, wellness surveys, and culture surveys that can be configured by our client. This allows Change Innovator's clients to provide access codes to a small group of employees or to thousands of employees, company wide. The employees can complete the surveys online and the results are recorded in a web-based MS Access database. A Change Innovators administrator can prepare a summary report to review with the client. Online survey training and testing tools are an area where Corectech has considerable experience and expertise.

Associations

Manitoba Motor Dealers Association is a Winnipeg based organization representing the new car dealerships in Manitoba. A website was developed in 2004 and features an online association membership database using MS Access with the ability for members to access forms and other information in a Member's section of the website. An Administrator module allows the association executive to manage information in the database through a web-based interface. Only a small portion of this website is designed for public access. The association provides a lot of information, forms and services through a secure login to the Dealer Member area of the website. The Winnipeg Construction Association, Manitoba Medical Veterinary Medical Association, and Construction Safety Association are several other Winnipeg and Manitoba based associations Corectech works with.

Database Applications

The University of Manitoba, Psychology Department contracted Corectech to design and develop an online testing application to allow students to complete tests and exams using a web based application. The system features the ability for the course instructors to set up and configure questions, tests, and exams. The tests and exams are also marked through a web based interface. This application initially developed for the University of Manitoba is now in use in several Universities in the USA. The knowledge and experience from this project has resulted in numerous other projects for online training and online testing applications. Corectech has considerable experience developing web based training and testing tools, including information systems for continuing education training and continuing education credits tracking and compliance management for professional associations.

Online Dashboard

TAMB is short for “Time and Material Billing which is a web based database used to record people’s timesheet records for hours attributed to projects allowing clients to get efficient timesheet tracking and accurate job costing data. The system also allows for Materials to be allocated to client projects. The combination of time and material tracking creates a powerful tool for job costing, billing, and performance measurement. This web based database is used by multiple clients and can be customized and configured for a variety of business types. The dashboard view of the information allows managers to view real time information and measures of progress and performance.

Software as a Service (SaaS)

The way businesses purchase software has changed from the traditional big capital purchase to a more on demand system. Corectech has several applications which they developed with one or more organizations, who then assist them to remarket the applications to other organizations. One example is Training To Do which is a database used to manage an organization’s training and continuing education credits. The Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba uses a web based database to record and manage their member’s training activities. The association can easily see each member’s status and training history. Corectech also has an online training and testing system which is offered as a web based service allowing a Client to create their own online training course and using the online testing tool they can create an online test and generate access codes for a complete online training an testing system.

Mobile Applications

Dairy Farmers of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB contracted Corectech to migrate a Palm based application use to record pickup records to a Windows based application designed for the Pocket PC platform. The records of each delivery of milk from a Producer is recorded on the handheld unit and synched into a central database. Corectech also developed a web based interface for this data to give producers real time access to delivery information. This system is designed for Windows Mobile 5.0 systems and uses wireless modems for synching data to the central database.

Commercial Software

Angel Wings Framing had an idea for a website, which ended up being more like a software application, or more accurately a web-based business. They wanted to sell their products and services from a website but also wanted to administer their product database and even process orders from their website. Event Management Websites

The Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association, Winnipeg MB puts on the Great Manitoba Dog Party each fall. This past year it was held on Sunday October 1st in Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg. They were looking for a basic website to promote the details on the event and chose the First Impression All Inclusive Websites package to provide an affordable website. In addition to details on the event the website features an online signup for volunteers and an online registration for the photo contest. The photo contest registration allows the public to upload a photo and submit their name and address. This feature was a great success and greatly increased the number of entries this year. This year’s event is coming up at the end of September 2007.

Golf Tournament Websites

The Rotary Club of St. Boniface - St. Vital in Winnipeg, MB started the Rotary Charity Gold Classic as a first class golf event in Winnipeg and the event was sold out in the first year. This year they decided to promote the event with a web site to make it easier for golfers to register, to give sponsors more exposure, and to make it easier for their golf committee to manage the registrations and communicate with golfers. Golfers can register online and receive an immediate email confirmation and invoice via email. An Admin module allows multiple members on the Golf Committee to manage ongoing registrations and be prepared for game day. Business Process Consulting

The Women’s Enterprise Centre of Manitoba, Winnipeg office was interested in conducting a review of their business systems. Corectech Business Systems conducted a Client Services Review which evaluated the business processes in place and the systems used to record and report data. Tools used included business process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and conceptual data modeling. The process resulted in a better understanding of the opportunities for improvement in both the organizational processes and information systems.

Corectech also provides programmers on a time and material basis to clients who have short term needs for additional programming resources.
